WorkMusic Packaging, Poster, Visual Identity

The visual identity for indie post-rock band Videoclub should be both striking and narrative at the same time.

Drawing inspiration from alchemy, religious motifs, science and seventies poster designs, an iconographic visual system was created using the letter V as the main symbol and in a broader sense as the aperture to their modern and mysterious sound.

Their multi-layered sound is extended to a visual level by adding a undefined dark layer behind the opening of the white and clean surface.

HelloMe designed the “Colossus EP”, a black uncoated laser-cut sleeve including an A3-poster serving as part of the cover, as well as art directing the photoshoot for press images, designing tour posters, flyers, merchandise and a huge strobe light logo for the band’s liveshows.
