We relaunched the web destination of photographer Patrick Desbrosses. The concept for this responsive website emphasizes the importance of the single image in the photographer’s body of work. By displaying all text vertically the design playfully values image over text, seeing over reading.

Besides shooting intimate portraits, fashion and stories for magazines Die Zeit, Harper‘s Bazaar, Vogue and Süddeutsche Zeitung he seemingly documents every moment of his life. To underline his ludic approach we created a modular and playful identity system based on the use of individual colored frames in 2011. The website refines this approach and playfully emphasizes image over text.
